Terms of Service

Effective date: October 15, 2026

These terms apply when you book or use real estate photography and related services from Akari Media. By booking, you agree to them, to the booking policies and to the photo licensing terms.

Bookings and payment

When you book, you choose how to pay. With Pay now by card, the full amount is charged at checkout. With Pay later, your shoot is reserved without payment: Nothing is due today. Payment is due when your media is delivered. A secure card payment link is sent with your finished media. Prices are those shown at the time of booking. Travel beyond the free travel radius is charged at the published per-mile rate.

Cancellation, rescheduling and weather

Cancellation, rescheduling and weather are covered by the booking policies, which are shown when you book and form part of these terms.

Access and the property

You are responsible for arranging access at the booked time and for having permission from the owner (and any occupants) for the property to be photographed. Please have the home ready using the prepare-your-home checklist. Akari Media is not responsible for moving furniture or valuables and will take reasonable care inside the home.

Delivery

Edited photos are delivered by download link within the stated turnaround after the shoot, or the same day when rush delivery is booked. Turnaround may be longer for add-ons such as virtual staging, 3D tours and floor plans; you will be told at booking if so.

Edits, virtual staging and enhancements

Editing aims for accurate, attractive images. Virtual staging, virtual twilight and enhancements such as sky replacement or lawn greening change how a property appears. You are responsible for labeling these images as required by your MLS, brokerage and advertising rules, and for not using edits that misrepresent the property’s condition.

Licensing

Akari Media keeps the copyright in all photographs and media. Your rights to use them are set out on the photo licensing page.

Liability

If something goes wrong with a shoot that is Akari Media’s fault, the remedy is a reshoot or a refund of the amount paid for the affected service. Akari Media is not liable for indirect losses such as delayed listings or lost sales.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The version in force when you book applies to that booking.
